It’s my unfortunate duty to report to you that Barack Obama has been elected President of the United States of America.
This is going to be a difficult time for our country. Not only will taxes go up, but our defenses will go down.
Eyes will undoubtedly be on Iran & Israel in the months following the Inauguration in January. We all know how much Iran likes Israel, and with Obama as President, there is less likely to be retaliation against an attack on Israel.
Unfortunately, it looks like the congress for District 15 (Home of RSP) was lost to the Incumbent, Ruben Hinojosa. It appears that John Cornyn won, as well as Todd Hunter squeaking by for District 32 State Rep (Home of RSP). We don’t have any of the other election results yet.
Two good things that did come out of this election, even though we did lose some more Senate seats, at least we did not give the liberals the magic 60 seats they desperately wanted.
The other thing that is good that came out of this race, is we know what the future of the Republican party looks like.
Sarah Palin & Bobby Jindal. Here’s hope for 2012 that one of them will be running for Presdent of the United States. I’ll definitely have a hard time voting in the primary if they both run.
