Pat Robertson Predicts Socialism For United States

Pat Robertson, founder of Christian Broadcasting Network, announced what he said God told him is to come in 2009.
America Will Embrace Socialism
God told him Americans would embrace socialism in 2009 “in order to relieve their pain” and that the economy would rebound under an Obama administration.
“The Lord said the economy of your nation will recover,” [...]
Post from: Red State Politics

Dem Leaders in Senate Approve of Israel’s Actions

This is truly amazing. Senators Hary Reid & Dick Durban both say that Israel’s actions are understandable and that the US would do the same in a similar situation.
This has me floored. I never thought I would here this from two of the most high profile Democrats in the Senate, especially Dick Durban and Harry [...]
Post from: Red State Politics

NY Post: OBAMA STIRS FEARS IN ISRAEL

Article in the NY Post describing how the difficult decisions currently being made by Israel are driven in part by the timetable of the Obama administration taking office in a few weeks.
Israel’s leaders are asking themselves two questions: Is the cost of sending sufficient ground forces into Gaza just too high? And, upon his inauguration [...]
Post from: Red State Politics

Israel Goes Into Gaza

Israel sent ground troops and tanks into Gaza last night. This is definitely sad news, but an inevitable result of Hamas’ actions. I’m surprised it took this long for Israel to get fed up.
There had been reports that Israel may not send ground troops in because of worry over possible lack of support from President-Elect [...]
Post from: Red State Politics

Proud to be a Texan

It is a proud day to be a Texan. John Cornyn has stood up and said:
“This is a very, very serious matter,” Cornyn said. “I can assure you that there will be no way that people on our side of the aisle will agree to seat any senator without a valid certificate.”
He is, of course, [...]
Post from: Red State Politics

HuckPAC’s New Volunteer Program

HuckPAC, Mike Huckabee’s PAC, started their National Volunteer Program yesterday, of which I have joined. As of 4:26 PM yesterday (1-1-2009), they had 828 new volunteers! That is incredible, especially since they were hoping for 500 volunteers by January 15th!
If you are interested in helping out the Conservative movement, not just Mike Huckabee, please join [...]
Post from: Red State Politics

Military Uncertain About President-Elect Obama

It appears that the military does not have the same faith in our newly elected President as half of the country does.
From ArmyTimes.com:
When asked how they feel about President-elect Barack Obama as commander in chief, six out of 10 active-duty service members say they are uncertain or pessimistic, according to a Military Times survey.

Children’s Bill of Rights in Texas

This will mostly be of interest to our fellow Texans, but please read even if you are not in Texas.
