Dem Leaders in Senate Approve of Israel’s Actions
This is truly amazing. Senators Hary Reid & Dick Durban both say that Israel’s actions are understandable and that the US would do the same in a similar situation.
This has me floored. I never thought I would here this from two of the most high profile Democrats in the Senate, especially Dick Durban and Harry Reid! Two men who said long ago that our war in Iraq was lost. Two men who will not support our own troops, but they will support Israel!
Don’t get me wrong, I am beyond thrilled that they are backing Israel, because now maybe Obama will, but I just can’t understand how they will support a foreign military when they won’t support ours. Oh, I forgot, they hate Bush, that explains it.
On a more unfortunate note, Vice President Dick Cheney has come out saying that Israel did not seek US approval or the support of President Bush.
Am I reading this correctly? Is Cheney saying that Israel should not have done this? Or is he just upset because he was not consulted? I mean, it wouldn’t have taken much to pick up the phone, call Prime Minister Olmert and say, we support you. That’s what we should be doing any way.
This is a little strange to me. It almost seems as though the Democrat leaders in the Senate are on the same side on this one as me, but Cheney is not. This is unknown territory for me.
Please read the full article here and comment if I am wrong.
Oh, and before I get yelled at, yes, the Republican leaders in the Senate are taking the same stance as Reid & Durban. Very strange.

Congratulations Senator Saxby Chambliss
Congratulations Sen. Chambliss, and Republicans everywhere. This Senate win in Georgia has removed any chance that the Democrats still had to gain a 60 seat super majority in the United States Senate.
Due to Georgia’s bad policy of requiring at least 50% of the vote to win, we had to have this runoff for the senate seat in which Saxby Chambliss duplicated his win in the regular election. Instead of declaring him the winner when he won the first time, with just under 50% due to a third party candidate, both candidates had to raise and spend millions that did not need to be spent.
Anyway, congratulations again, to Senator Chambliss and his family. God bless you, and remember the people that voted you in to office. Remember your support for the FairTax. We wish you the best from Red State Politics.
We now await the results of the Norm Coleman v. Al Franken recount in Minnesota.

Back to the Constitution
I feel that it is important to let as many people know about this blog as possible. It is not very often anymore that we have someone of such a young age (17) with the core values that this young man has. It is evident that Andrew Biddinger has his values and beliefs deeply rooted in his Faith in God & in the Word of God, The Holy Bible.
Mr. Biddinger has started the website Back to the Constitution, in an effort to get a Coalition of conservative values blogs & websites to as many people as possible before the 2010 & 2012 elections so that Conservatism can again prevail in America, & bring prosperity back to her People.
I am proud to have this website be inducted into this Back to the COnstitution Coalition. Please do check out his blog as well as all of the others involved in the Coalition.
